It seems like you have to jump through hoops to create a password these days.

You need a capital letter, a number, a symbol, a picture of a dog and some sort of mathematical equation just to fit the password guidelines on most websites.

Some, however, still let you get away with almost anything as your password and that’s where some of these come into play.

SplashData has released its annual list of the worst passwords of the year and some of them are laughably bad.

From lazy ones like ‘123456’ to strange ones like ‘sunshine’ and even the classic ‘password’ password, you’re just begging for your accounts to be hacked if you use one of these.

Here’s the top 20 worst passwords of 2018 and if yours is on this list, you may want to consider changing it as soon as possible.
