There’s a new “beef” heating up in the wild world of fast food social media.

On Monday, IHOb (formerly IHOP) announced that its name change from International House Of Pancakes to International House of burgers was a marketing stunt for its brand new burger menu.

Well known for social media sass, the Twitter account for Wendy’s wasted no time firing shots at its newest competitor.

Whoever runs the Wendy's Twitter account was well rested because the social media jabs did not end there.

IHOb eventually attempted to cool off Wendy's ongoing roast with a poorly worded Tweet that referred to selling hamburgers as sharing "our beef with the world."

However, the damage was done and the online world definitely noticed IHOb's rough introduction to the world of fast food.

IHOb was not made it clear whether the name change is a permanent change or not, but most anticipate that it’s just a temporary change to launch the new line of burgers.
