If your movie preferences reside in the realm of horror and gore you won’t want to miss out on Kelowna’s 11th annual Horrorfest!
Hosted by the Okanagan Society for Independent Filmmakers (OSIF) the beloved single-night film festival will return this Friday night at 7 pm at the Black Box Community Theatre.
A celebration of Okanagan and Canadian filmmakers, the event will showcase seven films in addition to four short YouTube flicks, all of which fall into the horror genre.
The cult-like event has grown exponentially since its inception, welcoming a record 235 attendees in 2018.
Not only will it offer up a chance to see some incredible and terrifying creations, but it is also a great way to celebrate Halloween early as it includes a costume competition, refreshments and music.
