3 new cases for Interior Health as 1 patient enters intensive care

After a large number of new COVID-19 cases reported over the long weekend, it was back to a small daily number for Interior Health today.

The health authority reported three new cases over the last 24 hours.

It brings the total number of cases in the BC Interior to 585 since the start of the pandemic.

There are currently 29 active cases in the region.

Two of those cases are hospitalizations, up one from Tuesday, and one person has now entered intensive care due to COVID-19 as well.

The outbreak at Calvary Chapel Kelowna, declared on Sept. 25, is now officially over.

Seven cases were linked to the outbreak over the past 19 days.
