Typically the one to assist people after a crash, Jamie Davis was at the centre of one this weekend.

The Highway Thru Hell star was involved in a multi-vehicle collision in the early hours of Sunday morning, the show said in a statement.

“Seasonal weather conditions” were blamed for the crash, which happened on Hwy 5 just outside of Avola, BC.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to Davis or anyone else involved in the crash.

“Davis was working on a long-haul towing operation at the time of the collision,” said the show’s statement. “The Highway Thru Hell production crew was not on site at the time.”

In the statement, Davis expressed gratitude for the emergency responders who attended the crash, as well as fans of the show for expressing their concern.

According to DriveBC, the highway was closed for around four hours because of the crash. It reopened shortly after noon on Sunday.
