Police in the BC Interior are investigating after locating a vehicle that was involved in a number of "suspicious incidents" over the last two months.

According to RCMP, between May 3 and June 10, a white Buick Enclave was involved in numerous incidents in the Lone Butte and 100 Mile House areas. Police did not illude to what the incidents were, only describing them as "suspicious."

Police worked with many of the local business owners to get accurate descriptions of the suspects. One was described as a 30 to 40-year-old man with short brown hair, an ear piercing and a tattoo on his left arm, while the other was only said to have a heavier build.

Police found the vehicle and its occupant on Friday at 4:40 pm.

"While the RCMP cannot comment on what the current investigation entails, what can be stated is that there is no misunderstanding anymore," said S/Sgt. Svend Nielsen. "Our investigation will be ongoing."

NowMedia will update the story when more information is available.
