Police continue to investigate following homicide in the Interior

Police in the BC Interior are investigating following a homicide in the region this week. 

According to RCMP, the incident happened during the early morning hours in the community of 100 Mile House. 

Police responded after hearing reports of gunshots in the industrial area of the town. 

Upon arrival, officers found one victim who had succumbed to their injures. They are now investigating what led to their death. 

"Evidence at the scene supports that the victim died as a result of homicide and the North District Major Crime Unit was called and has conduct of the investigation."
