A large dump of snow is coming to Hwy 3.

Environment Canada (EC) has issued a snowfall warning for the route in the areas of Paulson Summit and Kootenay Pass.

A cold front tracking across the BC Interior will bring between 10-25 centimetres of snow to the highway.

It’s expected to ease overnight.

“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” noted EC. “Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.”

You can head to the DriveBC website for all the latest highway conditions and closures.
