From an increase in remote work arrangements to new workplace health and safety policies, a lot has changed in the workforce since 2020. According to Scott, employment lawyers have seen an increase in cases involving constructive dismissals, the introduction of BC’s new paid sick leave, and a major shift in attitudes about working from home—all of which have their own specific legal ramifications.
