It’s seemingly getting repetitive, but we’re always happy to report it.

Interior Health is responsible for only two of British Columbia’s 125 newly reported cases of COVID-19 today.

There have now been 533 cases reported in the region since the pandemic began.

Currently, there are 21 active cases and one person in hospital.

There are still five cases connected to the outbreak at Calvary Chapel Kelowna.

The only other outbreak in the region will likely be declared over soon, as it was declared at Teck Coal Mines on Aug. 27.

Since it was declared, no IH residents have been associated with it, only workers who tested positive upon returning home to Alberta or Vancouver Island.
