It was another positive day for Interior Health when it came to COVID-19.

Today, the health authority reported just three new cases of the virus.

It brings the number of cases in the BC Interior to 511 since the start of the pandemic.

There are currently 31 active cases in IH and one person is in hospital.

No new outbreaks were reported today and only one is currently active in the region, which is at a Teck Coal Mines construction site.

As previously reported, no IH residents are associated with that outbreak, as all of the workers who tested positive did so after returning to their homes in Alberta or on Vancouver Island.
