BC's current public health orders will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
Health officials confirmed the news on Thursday, citing an uptick in the province's seven-day rolling average of cases and test positivity rates.
The rate of positive tests has jumped to 11.5% rate in the Northern Health region and above 8% in Fraser Health.
Dr. Bonnie Henry also announced 394 new cases of COVID-19 along with 10 deaths in the past 24-hours, the highest one-day death toll in two weeks.
There have now been 116 identified cases of COVID-19 variants, however, only nine remain active.
The number of people in hospital fell by nine overnight to 228, 62 of whom are in critical or intensive care.
So far, 230,875 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, including 62,608 second doses.
British Columbians over the age of 80 are expected to begin receiving the vaccine at clinics across the province on March 15.
More information on the rollout for people over the age of 80 will be provided on Monday, Health Minister Adrian Dix said earlier this week.
