(UPDATE: Monday, Sept 28) - There are now five cases of COVID-19 connected to the outbreak declared at Calvary Chapel Kelowna.
Anyone who attended church services on Sept. 20 is directed to self-isolate until October 4.
Initially, people who attended services on Sept. 13 were asked to self-monitor or self-isolate.
During Monday's regular COVID-19 briefing, health officials confirmed the additional case while announcing a total of nine new cases across the Interior Health region.
There are now 28 active cases across the region, which includes Kamloops, Kelowna and Penticton.
(Original Story: Saturday, Sept. 26) - Interior Health has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 at a Kelowna church.
In a release, IH says anyone who attended a morning church service at Calvary Chapel Kelowna on September 13 may have been exposed to the virus.
Four people are connected to the outbreak to date, with the latest three cases identified to public health on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26.
“Public health officials are asking individuals who were in the Ann Rauser Hall, within the building at 2870 Benvoulin Rd. for the 10:30 a.m. live service to self-isolate until end of the day on Sunday, Sept. 27 and to get tested if they display symptoms of COVID-19,” Interior Health said in a statement.

"We want to thank the church community for the co-operation being shown as we work to limit this exposure. We are aware that physical distancing and other safety precautions were in place, which is important to stop the spread of COVID-19," according to IH.
The church is situated within the same building as Kelowna Christian School, but it's unclear if the outbreak has impacted any students.
According to its website, Calvary Chapel Kelowna is holding Sunday Service for in-person gatherings of a maximum of 50 people, with pre-registration required.
