British Columbia reported 98 new cases of COVID-19 today, but less than 2% of them came from Interior Health.

The health authority reported just two new cases today, another positive day in the region.

Since the first case was diagnosed back in February, there’s been 522 total cases of COVID-19 across IH.

However, one person has been admitted to hospital with COVID-19 in the past 24-hours in the Interior Health region.

There’s only one current outbreak in the region, but there are no IH residents associated with it.

An exposure alert was issued on Wednesday for a Merritt pub, which you can learn more about here.
