Just 33 new COVID-19 cases for the BC Interior heading into the weekend

Another 33 cases of COVID-19 were identified in the BC Interior over the past 24 hours.

It brings the region to 11,622 total cases since the start of the pandemic, with 467 currently active.

There are 21 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the BC Interior at the moment and 11 are in critical care.

Unfortunately, there was another death, which brings Interior Health’s pandemic death toll to 145.

With another 8,874 immunizations done today, there have now been more than 385,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines doled out in the BC Interior, the majority being first doses.
