If you flew from Calgary to Kelowna last week, there’s a chance you could have been exposed to COVID-19.
A passenger on board WestJet flight 3343 from Calgary to Kelowna on Tuesday, March 17, has tested positive for the virus.
Anyone seated in the exit row of the airplane is considered a close contact and at risk of exposure.

"Public health officials recommend that affected individuals self-monitor for 14 days for symptoms of cough, fever or respiratory issues,” said a statement from Kelowna International Airport.
“Guests are advised to contact their primary care provider, or their local public health unit if they are concerned that they may have been exposed to or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.”
Anyone who has travelled through YLW recently is advised to monitor WestJet’s impacted flights page to ensure they’re aware of any possible exposure to COVID-19.
