The 100 Best Restaurants in Canada list has been unveiled by OpenTable as diners review and have decided which the best of the best are.

The list was collected from more than 275,000 restaurant reviews, collected from verified OpenTable diners who dined at Canadian restaurants between December 1st, 2014 and November 30th, 2015. Two Kelowna restaurants landed on the list and only 20 B.C. restaurants made the cut.

Quails' Gate Estate Winery - Old Vines Restaurant and Waterfront Wines were the only two local places to garner a spot in the top 100. Two other Okanagan restaurants also landed on the list, Liquidity Bistro in Okanagan Falls and the Sonora Room Restaurant at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery in Oliver.

The 100 Best Restaurants in Canada represent the establishments where creativity, consistency and hospitality meet at every meal, every day.

For the second year in a row, French fare was the most popular choice among Canadian diners, with Canadian and Italian cuisines placing second and third. Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Syrian cuisines ranked in the Top 100 as well.

"From coast to coast, Canadians love to experience great food in exceptional restaurants,” said Ziv Schierau, Head of National Accounts for OpenTable Canada. "Sixty-three winners from last year have again been selected by OpenTable diners as part of the 100 Best Restaurants in Canada, but all the restaurants on this list exemplify the best of what Canadian dining has to offer: incredible food and hospitality, an unforgettable culture and a dining experience that has guests returning again and again.”

The complete list can be viewed on the Open Table website.
