Coroners Service identifies victim of Clearwater mobile home fire

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a woman who was found deceased following a house mobile home fire in Clearwater on December 1st, 2016 as Liane Marianne McDonald, aged 61, of Clearwater. 

Ms. McDonald was home alone when neighbours noticed smoke coming from the structure. They called 911, but despite extensive efforts, were unable to rescue Ms. McDonald. Once the fire department had extinguished the blaze, Ms. McDonald was found to be deceased.  

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP are continuing to investigate the death.
