Breathtaking photos from the Finlay Creek wildfire

The Finlay Creek wildfire started late in the afternoon on Saturday, September 2nd. It is still active, and burning approximately 7.5 kilometres southwest of Peachland.

The first estimated size of the fire was 10 hectares, and by evening it had grown 10 times that size due to aggressive western winds. 

Our readers sent in some of their incredible photos and video of the fire, captured throughout the afternoon and into the evening as the fire progressed.
