Some serious nostalgia is heading our way in the fall, courtesy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.

The first two editions of the popular skateboarding video game are being remastered and released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on Sept. 4, 2020.

It was announced today on Tony Hawk’s 52nd birthday and the first trailer was released as well.

The game will feature all of the original pro skaters and 19 levels from the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, along with most of the songs from the games’ original soundtrack.

Music from Goldfinger, Rage Against The Machine, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, Naughty By Nature, Primus, Papa Roach and others was confirmed in the trailer that was dropped today.

You'll be able to play the original modes that you came to know and love when the games were first released, but there will also be an online multiplayer mode, something that obviously wasn't available back then.

The first two games in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series were released in 1999 and 2000, receiving critical acclaim and kickstarting the now iconic franchise.

Activision published both games 20 years ago and the California-based company will once again be in charge of releasing the remastered game this fall.

To say that today’s announcement has created a lot of hype would be an understatement.

It’s still nearly four months until the game will be released, but there’s no shortage of people in their 30s waiting anxiously for the chance to relive their childhood come September.
