Alice Cooper has announced more tour dates and it includes a stop in the Okanagan.

The Godfather of Shock Rock will bring his talents to the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on Sunday, April 19, 2020.

Even though he’s on the north side of 70, Cooper continues to tour regularly, performing shows around the world with the dark and horror themed theatrics he’s best known for.

He’ll be bringing along his band that includes guitarists Ryan Roxie, Nita Strauss and Tommy Henriksen, along with drummer Glen Sobel and bassist Chuck Garric.

Lita Ford, the one-time guitarist for The Runaways, will be opening up the show.

Although Cooper’s last album was released in 2017, you can bet you’ll hear plenty of his classics, including “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “Poison” and “School’s Out.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 am and be available through Valley First Tickets.

They’ll set you back between $45 and $109 before taxes and service fees.
