A biopic about iconic Motörhead bassist and frontman Lemmy Kilmister is officially in the works.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is titled Lemmy and will focus on the iconic songwriter's early life in England.
The musician, whose real name was Ian Fraser Kilmister, famously spent time serving as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix as well as in the band Hawkwind before founding Motörhead.
Greg Oliver, who directed a 2010 documentary of the same name, will also helm the latest project on the rockstar.
"Everything you've heard about Lemmy is probably true… not because he was embracing rock'n'roll clichés, but because he was creating them," said Olliver in a statement.
"Marlboro Reds and Jack Daniel's for breakfast, speed for dinner — all true. But behind that steely-eyed façade of rock'n'roll was also a compelling, complicated and lion-hearted man who stayed the course and never gave up playing the music that made him happy."
Motörhead has also been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
Sadly, Kilmister passed away in December 2015 at the age of 70.
