NBC has just announced that it will be adding five more episodes to the ever-popular cult cop T.V. show Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Earlier this year, the show was at risk of cancellation by Fox.

The internet swiftly went into a fit of rage and created a huge push for the network to keep the show. Only two days after the cancellation, NBC picked up the show for its sixth season.

Now the show is back and officially bigger and better.

Fans and cast members have turned to the internet to show their excitement and gratitude.

So why 18 episodes you ask? Simple. Because nine plus nine equals 18.

Either way, we get two and a half hours of additional entertainment.
