A fifth studio album is on the way from the Arkells.

The popular Canadian band announced today that their new album, Rally Cry, will be released on Oct. 19.

It will feature their latest single, "People’s Champ," and possibly their number one hit, "Knocking at the Door."

The latter was added to the deluxe version of their fourth album, Morning Report, but the band may decide to include it on the new record as well.

Based out of Hamilton, Ont., the band has shot into the spotlight over the past seven years thanks to their irresistible sound, relatable lyrics and incredible live show.

They’ve become one of Canada’s favourite bands and they even travelled to South Korea to perform for Canadian athletes during the 2018 Summer Olympics.

Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue even helped them with the announcement of The Rally, a massive hometown show to kick off the summer where they were joined by Cold War Kids and more.

The new album will surely come with more tours from the band, but no details regarding those have been announced.
