Chamber Music Kelowna ending concert season with visit from popular quartet

A Juno Award-nominated string quartet that has toured across North America is coming to Kelowna.

New Orford String Quartet will be appearing in Kelowna for one night only on April 12.

Their visit has been arranged by Chamber Music Kelowna to close their 2018-19 season in style.

The group’s members are Jonathan Crowe on violin, Andrew Wan also on violin, Eric Nowlin on viola and Brian Manker on cello.

They will perform Brahms, Beethoven and Vanchestein.

Before the start of the performance, which is at 7:30 p.m., guests can enjoy a talk from the Okanagan Symphony’s Rosemary Thomson.

She will begin at 6:50 p.m.

The event is being held at the Mary Irwin Theatre, Rotary Centre for the Arts.
