Kids love spring break, but it can be a stressful time for parents.

For a week or two, parents need to find activities for their kids or even rely on something like childcare if they’re young enough.

Cineplex is trying to help by offering a cheap activity that can easily kill a couple of hours for a family and maybe give mom and dad a chance to have a little nap!

At most of its theatres across Canada, Cineplex will be offering movies that cater to young families for the low price of $2.99 per person.

They’ll be showing Arctic Dogs, Missing Link, The Addams Family and a pair of Paw Patrol movies.

For theatres in British Columbia, outside of a small handful in the Lower Mainland, the deal is on for the week of March 23-27.

All movies play on each of the five days around the same time, starting shortly before noon.
