One of the most popular Cirque du Soleil productions is ready to wow audiences in Kelowna.

Corteo, Cirque du Soleil's latest arena production, kicks off a five-day run at Prospera Place on Wednesday.

There will be a total of eight shows over the next five days and you're in luck because tickets are still available.

That includes evening shows on Wednesday and Thursday, with both matinee and evening shows from Friday through Sunday.

Corteo is a unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, that first premiered in Montreal 13 years ago.

Since then, the show has been put on in 64 cities across 19 countries, wowing 8 million people in the process.

Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown.

The cast includes 51 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from all corners of the globe.
