Just For Laughs has announced the addition of several cities to Jimmy Carr’s summer tour and he will now be stopping in the Okanagan.

The popular UK comedian will bring his Terrible Funny summer tour to Prospera Place on Sunday, June 25.

It will be just the third time Carr has hit the road in Canada and the first time in five years following sold out tours in 2016 and 2018.

While Carr has been a household name in the UK for many years, he has become one of the best-selling comedy acts around the globe in recent years.

He was the first UK comedian to sign a stand-up deal with Netflix in 2015 and has since released three specials on the streaming platform.

As the name suggests, his Terribly Funny tour contains jokes about all kinds of terrible things.

“Terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love,” explains a press release about the newly-announced show.

“But they’re just jokes - they are not the terrible things. Having political correctness at a comedy show is like having health and safety at a rodeo. Now you’ve been warned, buy a ticket.”

If you do want to secure your ticket to Carr’s show in June, you can do so through Select Your Tickets starting at 10 am on Friday.
