May will be an exciting month for Disney Plus subscribers.
As always, the streaming service doesn’t have the same volume of content arriving as you see with its counterpart Netflix, but there are several exciting releases set to arrive in May.
Leading the way is the popular Welcome to Wrexham series, which documents the journey of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhinney’s Welsh football club, AFC Wrexham.
Season three arrives soon and, for the first time, Canadians won’t have to wait patiently until the fall to get episodes months after they’re released in the United States and United Kingdom.
Instead, the episodes will arrive in Canada at the same time as the US and UK, starting with a two-episode premiere on May 3 with the final six episodes of the season arriving weekly after that.

Another exciting premiere in May is the new Doctor Who series, featuring new doctor Ncuti Gatwa, which will start arriving on May 10.
On May 8, Disney Plus will add the premiere episode of the mini docuseries Under the Bridge, which dives into the infamous murder of 14-year-old Reena Virk in Victoria 27 years ago.
