Multi-JUNO award nominee Amanda Marshall is set to release a new album this year and will be bringing her latest tour to Prospera Place in July.

Marshall will be releasing her new collection of songs, dubbed “Heavy Lifting,” this summer with the first single, “I Hope She Cheats,” coming out on Friday, March 31.

The singer’s cross-country tour will be stopping in Kelowna on Sunday, July 2.

The tour will feature special guest Sophia Frascassi who was Kiss Radio’s most recent “One to Watch 2023.”

Toronto-born Marshall is best known for her 1990 hits “Let it Rain,” “Dark Horse” and “Birmingham.”

In addition to her new collection of songs and the tour, Marshall is set to release a special vinyl re-issue of her 1995 self-titled debut album, which features all those tunes.

The singer has the distinction of being only one of 24 Canadian albums to achieve Diamond certification, which is the result of surpassing one million copies domestically.

Tickets for the cross-country tour go on sale on Friday, March 31 at 10 am.
