At this rate, Jeopardy! is going to go bankrupt.

James Holzhauer, a professional gambler from Las Vegas, has taken the game show world by storm with his current two-week run on Jeopardy!.

He’s now won 14-straight games and has eclipsed $1-million USD earnings mark in record time with $1,061,554 USD won so far.

After beating the single-game record for winnings with $110,914 USD on April 9, Holzhauer has posted two games with even more winnings and now has the top seven spots on that list.

The 35-year-old is doing so historically well that Jeopardy! has launched a tracker to keep tabs on all his milestones.

Of his 14 wins so far, 13 have been runaway games where he’s left his opponents in the dust.

He’s got 32 of 35 daily doubles correct, wagering an average of $9,582 each time.

Holzhauer is also a very impressive 93% when it comes to Final Jeopardy!, not that most of his wins have been in doubt at that point.

While he has a long way to go to beat Ken Jennings incredible run of 74 straight games won, Holzhauer is on pace to eclipse Jennings’ total winnings mark of $2,520,700 in less than 40 games.
