Everyone’s favourite heartthrob musician is coming to British Columbia this spring.

John Mayer has announced a 19-date North American tour that will see him perform a solo acoustic set in some major markets.

That includes a show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Monday, April 10.

It’s the first time in his career that Mayer will embark on a tour on his own and it will lean heavily on his acoustic guitar work, with special performances on piano and electric guitar.

For his West Coast dates, Mayer will get support from singer-songwriter Alex Benjamin.

Mayer will treat audiences to a lengthy set list of hits from his eight studio albums, from Room for Squares (2001) to Sob Rock (2021) and everything in between.

That includes hits like “Your Body Is a Wonderland,” “Waiting on the World to Chance,” “Daughters,” “Who Says,” “New Light,” “Last Train Home” and plenty more.

Fans can sign up for presale tickets through Mayer’s website and they will become available at 9 am on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

General sales begin at 9 am on Friday, Feb. 3.
