Justin Trudeau will be making an appearance on The Simpsons this Sunday.

But it won’t be the prime minister voicing his cartoon representation – a Toronto journalist who uploaded a video of impressions was given the role instead.

Lucas Meyer tweeted his thanks to the show makers on Monday for allowing him to take part.

“Now to be clear I’m definitely not a star, just a handful of lines, but to be part of a show of my youth is insane,” he said.

The episode, titled “D’oh Canada”, airs at 8 p.m. on Fox this Sunday.

According to its synopsis, Marge is forced to rescue Lisa after she is mistakenly granted asylum in Canada while vacationing in Niagara Falls.
