It’s been a few months, but a night out at the movies is a reality once again.

A number of movie theatres across the Okanagan are reopening their doors to the public today, with a number of new policies and guidelines in effect.

The following Okanagan movie theatres are now open:

Theatres will have heavily reduced seating and guests will be asked to purchase tickets in advance and show up no more than 20 minutes prior to a movie’s start time.

In general, there will be less showtimes to eliminate possible congestions in theatre lobbies.

Concessions will be open, but there will be limited offerings.

Until July 23, Landmark Cinemas will be offering movie tickets for just $5 and just $2.99 on Tuesdays.

You can find out more on the reopening policies for both Landmark and Cineplex by visiting their websites.
