PHOTOS: Penti-con assembles a legion of comic fans to Penticton

A legion of characters from a variety of movies, television shows, comic books and manga congregated at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for The Penti-con event between June 9 and 10 - which went off as seamlessly as comic-con fits into the city's name.

From everyone's favourite plumber to the reliable appearance of beloved Star Wars and Star Trek characters, The Penti-con allowed the legions of fans to show off their cosplay and enjoy Penticton's comic convention.

Our Ty Guy Cleans House at the Pent-icon Convention! A Winner!! 🥇🏆🏆 Ty is on top of the world! He spent the whole weekend at Penti-Con (Cosplay Convention) in Penticton. Here he is dressed in his Kirito Costume. Him and Andi made it from scratch! Just amazing ~ I think Tyler wore it better than Kirito! 🤣 one of the highlights was; Ty getting photobombed by Deadpool 🤣 Yesterday he entered a Gundam Flash Building contest. The person that could build it the fastest wins. Our Ty guy WINS! And brings home his prize last night; a new Gundam This morning he entered one of his previous Gundam builds into a different contest. Ty Guy took home First Place 🥇 beating the competition by 0.5 points!! His prize a Gundam RX-78-2 in perfect Grade (approximately $200?) It is safe to say that this was likely one of the BESTEST weekends EVAR!! Way to go Ty Guy!! We are so proud and excited for you.
