While many summer events have been postponed or cancelled, Penticton Peach Festival continues to make plans for its 2020 edition.

That includes announcing a headline musical act, which will be internationally acclaimed country artist Jess Moskaluke.

She’ll perform on the Peter Bros. main stage in Okanagan Lake Park on Thursday, Aug. 6 and you’ll certainly hear her recent hit single, “Country Girls.”

“We feel so grateful to have such a talented artist, with a current number one hit on Canadian Country Radio, coming to the Penticton Peach Festival to headline Tim Hortons Country Night,” said Don Kendall, Peach Fest president.

“She has a growing fan base with over 32 million views on YouTube and her popularity is only rising.”

Moskaluke has multiple Juno Award nominations and took home Country Album of the Year at the 2017 Junos.

She’s also won the Canadian Country Music Association’s Female Artist of the Year award for three consecutive years.

As of now, Penticton Peach Festival is full steam ahead, but you can stay up to date with the latest news regarding the festival and its status with COVID-19 by clicking this link.
