Backstreet’s back, alright.
The five-piece pop group has announced a 2019 world tour that will accompany the release of their 10th studio album, DNA, on Jan. 25.
The DNA World Tour includes a Canadian leg, which will stop at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Saturday, July 27.
Although it’s been a couple of decades since the Backstreet Boys were one of the most popular groups in the world, music fans from around B.C. will surely be travelling to see this show.
It helps that it’s a midsummer Saturday show, making it the perfect weekend Vancouver road trip.
While the tour is in support of their latest album, there’s no doubt that they’ll be playing all the classics.
That includes “Everybody,” “Quit Playing Games,” “All I Have To Give,” “I Want It That Way” and “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely.”
Earlier this year, the group released the first single from DNA, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” and the second single, “Chances,” was released alongside this tour announcement today.
Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, Nov. 14, although a price hasn’t been revealed yet.
