Even as COVID-19 lockdown restrictions start to be lifted across the country, nobody is expecting to attend a live concert anytime soon.

However, in the absence of being able to rock out at music venues, live-streamed shows have quickly gained popularity.

The newly announced Budweiser Stage at Home series aims to keep Canadians connected to live music by broadcasting weekly shows on its new streaming platform.

Up first on Saturday, May 30, is the hour long series premiere featuring The Black Crowes with The Trews.

The show will also include post-performance interviews conducted by Tara Slone, co-host of Rogers Hometown Hockey and lead vocalist of Joydrop.

On Saturday, June 6, Blue Rodeo will be joined by Alan Doyle for an iconic all Canadian performance, with additional lineups to be announced in the coming weeks.
