The last Friday of January is going to be a fun one in Kelowna.

The Boom Booms will be in town to play a show at the Rotary Centre for the Arts’ Mary Irwin Theatre on Jan. 25, 2019.

It promises to be a can’t miss show.

A blend of storytelling and dance music with draws on funk, soul and Latin styles, the Vancouver-based band always gets the crowd moving.

“Feel-good music, soaked in classic soul and served on a 21st century platter,” says BeatRoute Magazine to describe the band.

The Boom Booms have been around for just over a decade and released their third studio album, A Million Miles, in September 2017.

There’s no word on when their next album might be on the way.

You can get tickets for the show by clicking this link and they’ll set you back $25, but only $15 if you’re a member of the Kelowna Visual and Performing Arts Centre Society.
