If you’re a fan of the hit Canadian TV series “Schitt’s Creek,” there’s a real estate listing you need to see.

The Rosebud Motel, which is known in real life as the Hockley Motel, is up for sale at a price of $2-million.

The motel’s exterior was of course used in the hit TV show, which originally aired on CBC and has since been internationally distributed by Netflix.

Located just 90 minutes from downtown Toronto and 15 minutes outside the town of Orangeville, the building has 10 rooms.

That includes a two-storey manager’s suite and separate cottage.

“The property is currently not operational and a new owner has the ability to create something special on the site, capitalizing on new travel trends following COVID-19,” says the Colliers Canada listing.

“It is anticipated travelers will be valuing safety and cleanliness as well as unique experiences to enjoy nature and the outdoors.”

The 4,300-square foot building is located on a 6.7-acre property, which has the Nottawasaga River running through the back.

While “Schitt’s Creek” is finished, the motel has been featured in a number of other movies and TV shows, so the potential for profits from the entertainment industry is still there.
