The Simon & Garfunkel Story is coming to the Kelowna Community Theatre

If you’re a fan of Simon & Garfunkel, you’ll want to snag tickets to an internationally-acclaimed theatre show that’s coming to Kelowna in 2020.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story will come to the Kelowna Community Theatre on March 1, 2020 as part of its North American tour.

The immersive concert-style theatre show that chronicles the incredible journey of the folk-rock duo made up of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

“It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60s to their dramatic split in 1970,” says a release regarding the show.

“It culminates with the famous ‘The Concert in Central Park’ reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance.”

The show features a full live band to perform many of the duos hits, while using state-of-the-art video projection, photos and original film footage on stage as well.

Tickets for the Kelowna show will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 27 through Select Your Tickets.
