The Tea Party released its first single in four years in November.

Now, they’ve announced a 2019 tour that will see them on the road for most of the spring.

Almost all the dates are in Canada, starting in Ontario and eventually making its way west to Kelowna where the band will play on Tuesday, May 7.

The show is at the Kelowna Community Theatre and tickets will go on sale on Friday through Select Your Tickets.

"So looking forward to being back onstage with my soul brothers.” said Jeff Martin, the band’s guitarist.

“There’s nothing that compares to the rush I get when the Tea Party is firing on all cylinders.”

It’s called the Black River Tour after the release of the aforementioned single, “Black River.”

The band will showcase some other new music on the tour, which is due to be released in 2019, but you’ll surely hear some of their better known songs as well.

That includes hits like “Heaven Coming Down,” “The Messenger,” “Lullaby,” “Soulbreaking,” and “Temptation.”
