West Kelowna's Ben Klick is back with his third annual Music Fest for MS fundraiser.

The virtual music festival helped raise $34,690 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada in 2020.

This year's event is set to take place on Sunday, May 30th and will be live streamed on YouTube, Shaw TV Spotlight as well as on New Country 100.7 in Kelowna.

“In 2018, my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis; An auto-immune disease that attacks the central nervous system," said Klick.

"When I got the news, I knew I wanted to do something to help, and that’s where the idea for Music Fest MS came in. It’s a fun, positive, uplifting show, and the community of local businesses and music fans are all coming together!”

Via ticket sales, a silent auction, 50/50 and donations, the singer/songwriter has a goal to raise $50,000 during this year's event.

KelownaNow sat down to chat with Klick about the personal connection he has with the disease, what people can expect for this year's event and his upcoming new album.
