A pair of great Canadian bands are set to take over Waterfront Park’s Island Stage tonight.

As a result of the show, which goes from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., the park will be closed to anyone without tickets from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.

The south portion of Tugboat Beach will be closed as well, but the north end of the beach will still be accessible through Rotary Marsh Park.

One way to access the park tonight is to purchase a ticket to what promises to be an incredible night of music.

The doors to the venue will open up at 6:30 p.m. before Kelowna’s very own Yukon Blonde takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Fresh off the release of their fourth studio album, Critical Hit, the band will certainly have some new live tunes to show off.

Bahamas will have some tunes Okanagan music fans haven’t heard live yet as well, as the Toronto native released his new album, Earthtones, back in January.

He’ll take the stage at 8:30 p.m. and will be playing a mix of songs from Earthtones, as well as some of his many hits from his first three records.

Tickets are still available through Select Your Tickets and they’ll be available at the door tonight as well.
