Next weekend downtown Kelowna will be invaded by a troupe of dancing zombies for the annual Thrill the World event

Hosted as a way of honouring the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson and his chart-topping record Thriller, the event invites thousands across the globe to dance alongside each other to the iconic song while getting into the Halloween spirit.

Kelowna’s event, organized by Studio9 School for the Arts, will begin at exactly 3 pm in Stuart Park and everyone is invited to join in for free!

All you have to do is dress up in your undead best, register onsite by 2:45 pm and bring a non-perishable food donation for the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

In years previous the event has boasted anywhere from 60 to 100 participants, creating a spooktacular sight for bystanders in the downtown core.

Don’t miss out on the frightfully fun way to usher in Halloween!
