Rutland Lions Park was the site of the 2022 Kelowna Car and Bike Show on Sunday afternoon.

From 11 am to 4 pm, the Car and Bike Show brought out flocks of people to peruse hundreds of the most classic, modern and zaniest cars the Okanagan had to offer.

The annual car show returned for the first time since 2019. Attendees were encouraged to vote for their favourite ride, with the winner receiving a monetary prize.

This year, the show was revamped, as typically it is hosted in August, under the name: Uptown Rutland Classic Car Show. However, in 2022, Impact Events took over the hosting duties, and with it, a revamped event that included way more than just vehicles.

In a wonderful bit of news, the projected forecast decided to ease off, as there were nothing but blue clouds and sun.

Chrome Audi's were mixed in with Plymouth Prowlers, as collector and street-legal vehicles were both present.

Food trucks and boutiques dotted the park throughout the day, with the 13 Broken Bones band belting out tunes throughout the afternoon.

A plethora of vehicles each had their own unique accessories, to really personalize the rides. There were 3D printed frogs, an A&W faux basket, lucky pennies and humourous signage.
