It’s National Hamburger Day and what better way to celebrate than grabbing a delicious burger for lunch or dinner.

There are plenty of places to grab a great burger in the Central Okanagan, but a few spots always get talked about a little more than others.

So if you’re sitting at work debating where to get lunch, or debating where to take the family for dinner tonight, we’re here to help.

These are five of the most popular sports to go enjoy a burger around town:

1. Central Kitchen & Bar

Central Kitchen & Bar is always mentioned when you talk about the best burger spots in Kelowna. There’s six burgers on their menu, ranging from a delicious “Vintage” burger, an interesting “Greek Freak” option and even a vegan burger.

2. Burger Baron

Tucked away in Rutland, the Burger Baron is a popular and cheaper choice, but that certainly doesn’t take away from the taste. You can get one of their famous burgers and side of fries for around $10 and we promise you’ll be heading back soon for more.

3. Bin 4 Burger Lounge

Bin 4 Burger Lounge is one of the newest spots to eat in Kelowna, but their formula has been tried and tested in Victoria. There’s 15 options to choose from that use a variety of different types of meat and take inspiration from all corners of the globe.

4. The Naked Cafe

If you’re looking for a vegan option, look no further than The Naked Cafe in downtown Kelowna. The popular spot has six options that feature either Beyond Meat, portobello or imitation chicken patties. You can also add veggie bacon to your burger if you’re feeling adventurous.

5. Five Guys Burgers & Fries

Yes, it’s a chain, but it’s one of the most popular burger chains in North America, so it’s hard not to include it on this list. If you’re in West Kelowna, one of the best options for a tasty burger is Five Guys Burgers & Fries, where you can customize your own creation from scratch. Also, be sure to get some of their famous fries, which are cooked in peanut oil.
