A coconut product is being recalled across British Columbia over fears it could be contaminated by salmonella.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced today that Feeding Change’s Young Thai Coconut Meat is being withdrawn from the marketplace.

Anyone who has bought the product is advised to throw it away or return it.

It comes as part of a CFIA investigation into food safety.

CFIA said there have been no illnesses reported in connection with the coconut product.
