Summer is officially here and so are some of our favourite summer deals.

As of today, McDonald’s has reintroduced ice cream cones to its menu after they were removed due to COVID-19 in the spring.

To make things even better, the cones cost just $1 and sundaes are only $2 until Sept. 7, 2020.

“Whether solo, with a group of friends or with the whole family, McDonald’s soft serve is an affordable and familiar way to satisfy your summer craving,” said a media release.

This isn’t the only popular summer deal at McDonald’s, as the fast-food chain’s Summer Drink Days kicked off on June 29.

That means any size fountain drink and medium iced coffees are just $1, while small iced frappés, small smoothies and medium Minute Maid slushies are just $2.

There’s plenty of ways to beat the heat on toasty summer days and hitting up your local McDonald’s for a cold treat is certainly a cheap solution.
