Kelowna has some new additions to the food scene this summer.

From urban wineries, pizza spots, and brand new bakeries, there’s almost too many new places to keep track of.

Here’s a quick guide to some of our newest local spots to grab a drink, some eats, and some good times.

Soma Cidery Restaurant

The Okanagan's Soma Cidery has opened the doors to its first restaurant and cidery in Kelowna located at 4485 Sallows Rd.

Visitors can expect some fresh farm-to-table goodness on the menu. Not only will you be able to taste the delicious food, you can also dine in an amazing venue, complete with an alpaca farm (yes, really).

Jack’s Pizza and Liquor

Located at 231 Bernard Avenue, Jack’s Pizza & Liquor is well on it’s way to becoming the latest hotspot with its thin crust zaa made with locally sourced ingredients, craft cocktails and Insta-worthy content.

Their record collection wall, groovy aesthetic, and casual environment make this place a new local treasure.

Ricco Bambino Winery

Kelowna’s newest urban winery quietly opened its doors last week.

The long awaited Ricco Bambino winery has been on many of our radars for awhile, and now they’re serving up their organic wine for the city who loves to drink it.

The design of the downtown winery, located at 1630 Pandosy St, is quite appealing as well. You’ll be sipping vino in amongst lots of green plants, natural light, and beautiful decor.

Vice and Virtue Brewing Co.

Brews with the boys?

Kelowna’s brewery district just keeps on growing, and this place opened in July to add to the list.

The brewery is located at 1033 Richter St., just steps from Kettle River Brewing Co. and Red Bird Brewing Inc.

Taco Cantina

Tacos are life, and this little streetside spot nestled in between two Bernard Avenue businesses is a new seasonal addition by Earl’s.

Serving up five different tacos, some starters, and of course some bevvys, this is a great relaxed place to hit up with a couple good pals out in the sunshine and fresh air.

Amore Mio

Got a hankering for a taste of Italy?

This new artisanal gelato shop should do the trick.

Located at 270 Bernard Ave in Downtown Kelowna, they’ve got a wide range of the eats we all crave, from croissants, arancini, paninis, pizza, and stuffed risotto balls.

Craft Beer Market

If you haven’t checked out Craft Beer Market yet, make sure you hit their patio before the summer sun goes away.

There aren’t a lot of things people in Kelowna love more than a rooftop patio, but Craft’s 112 beers on tap might come pretty close.

Located in the space that was home to Kelowna’s Paramount Theatre for dozens of years, you can’t miss it if you’re taking a stroll down Bernard on a Friday night.

Coming soon...

Pacific Poke

Kelowna is getting its own taste of Hawaiian cuisine.

There isn’t a confirmed opening date for this soon to be downtown restaurant, but if the food is as good as it looks we hope soon!
